1. Who we are
OneStop African Superstore ("we", "us", "our") is a grocery, fashion, and lifestyle store located at 344 Barrett Street, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. You can reach us at onestopafrican@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account info: name, email, and password when you create an account.
- Order info: items purchased, pickup date, pickup PIN, and delivery address (Canada only).
- Payment info: card details are processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Messages: anything you send through our contact, feedback, or support forms.
- Technical data: basic browser and device info needed to operate the site securely.
3. How we use it
- Fulfilling orders and pickups.
- Responding to your messages, feedback, and support requests.
- Protecting the site against abuse and fraud.
- Improving our product selection and service.
4. Card payments & Stripe
Card payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. — a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. When you pay, your card details are sent directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection and are never stored on our servers. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to that data: stripe.com/privacy.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers we need to run the store — currently Stripe (payments) and our hosting/database provider — and only to the extent needed to deliver the service. We may also disclose information if required by Canadian law.
6. Data retention
Account and order records are kept for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal obligations under Canadian law.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing onestopafrican@gmail.com. You can also delete your account from the Account page.
8. Cookies & local storage
We use a small amount of browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and save your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an access-controlled database. Only the store admin account (onestopafrican@gmail.com) can view messages and orders. We take reasonable steps to protect your information but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
